DIE CUT ENVELOPES + DETAILED FLORAL THINLITS DIES BY STAMPIN UP
August 11, 2016
Making mini envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board by Stampin' Up! and adding a wow factor using Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies and Flower Punches is incredible easy.
I have a previous post showing how to make envelopes using Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies HERE, and I also made a previous video Tutorial.. But hey! I used the Big Shot Plus to make those envelopes and since then I got several e-mails with questions regarding how to die cut envelopes using the Stampin' Up! Big Shot or any average die cutting machine to make this project.
So here I go...
The size of the envelopes will be 3-1/4x 4 - 1/4 (8.2 x 10.7cm)
This will be the maxim size achieved to keep the envelope in 1 single piece and you can use any of the dies in the pack to make the 2 different envelopes in this post.
Below a picture of envelopes made with the smaller die in the pack.
Size 4-1/2"x3" (11.7x7.6 cm approx)
Below a picture of envelopes made with the larger die in the pack.
Size 3-1/4x 4 - 1/4 (8.2 x 10.7cm approx)
You can compare the 2 envelopes designs in the picture below. They are slightly different in size.
Cut the paper at 6"x6" to make the envelope using any of the floral dies in Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies pack.
To make envelopes with the larger die in the pack
Score at 2- 5/8 ( cm)
To make the envelope with the smaller die
Score at 2- 3/8 ( cm)
Do not have the envelope punch board?
I add to the envelopes a banner stamped with one of the beautiful sentiment of Bunch of Blosooms Stamp set and using Petite Petals Punch I made the little flower on the banner.
I made a very simple blank card to go with this envelopes and stamped one of the sentiment of Better together Stamp Set. These will make pretty little cards for my customers.
I really hope you enjoyed the projects today and get some ideas to work with your Stampin' Up! tools.
