FAIRY CELEBRATION STAMPIN UP #tgifc68 - Sketch Challenge

It is time for TGIF challenges and I made 2 easy and quick cards using Fairy Celebration Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! for my entry this week.
For very fist time I have fairies stamps in my stack! Woop woop and I'm excited as I thought fairies wasn't my thing. I love making cute little wings to embellish the images and if you like coloring you have to have it. Check out previos project here!
The stamp set is great value for money. It includes 2 large fairies and a small one, 4 sentiments and a fairy dust stamp so you get 8 stamps perfect to make girly birthday or encouragement cards.
I love everything about this set!
I stamped the images with Basic Black Archival ink on Shimmery Cardstock by Stampin' Up! and using aqua painters and ink pads I applied washes of colour in the background and some parts of the image.
To get vibrant colors I used Stampin' write markers on its own and I applied Clear Wink of Stella over some parts of the image
I stamped the wings with Stampin' Up! white craft ink on vellum. I leave dry for a couple of minutes, and then I hand cut them.
I apply some big drops of the Glossy Accents underneath the wings to paste them on the paper and also to add dimension. Then I applied a few drops on the background and on the fairies wings.
TIPS:
- Stampin' Up! markers are water based so you can blend them with water.
- You can use any pink tone, yellow or light brown (or mix them) to create a skin tone when using a watercolor technique on Shimmery Paper or Watercolour paper only.
- Avoid applying water on whisper white cardstock or any other not designed for watercoloring.
