 Beautiful Flowers II
Your Greatest Dream Stamp Set

So You won't believe me but I made these cards this morning after a night shift ( I work from 10pm to 7am on Saturdays)  Here in the UK we are 5 hours ahead of USA local time and I was waiting until the last minute for a watercolour paper delivery.  I had run out of it is only available online!! Nooooooo

Then  I had to use some samples of a watercolour paper  I got ... Hmmmmm I won't mention the brand but gosh it was pretty challenging to do any colouring on it.

Today  I remembered how important it is to use good quality paper to achieve good results. Check this sample here made using Arches Cold Pressed watercolour paper...  Can you spot the differences? it is just incredible. So the point here is that the paper you use for your projects is very very very important!

Arches watercolour paper is my new favourite. Applying colours is easy and quick and the results are quite rewarding... It is easier to stamp due to very little texture and hold the inks beautifully.

I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolours to add colour to the flowers and I did some colour blending using Distress Inks ( Salty Ocean +   chipped sapphire)

I also used Deco Diamonds Background Stamp   o stamp a backing panel. I love that geometric pattern to stamp pretty much everything.

  31. Gorgeous flowers, you have a lovely way with watercolour, I still have the basics to master in this medium. Thank you for the review on the papers, I think the Arches might be my investment paper from what Yo uve said.
