BALLOON CELEBRATION FOR GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #GDP036 - CASE the Designer - Paula Dobson
May 16, 2016
Hello, it is Monday of Global Design Project and today we are Casing our fabulous team member Paula Dobson.
Paula is Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in New Zealand and her projects are adorable, colourful, creative, unique... Her watercolour is just spectacular.
I used Balloon Celebration bundle to make my entry for today. This is a very simple card and what is interesting about it is the faux inlay die cuts I have created by using the Balloon Bouquet Punch.
Below a picture of Paula's card, the source of inspiration this week

I have cased Paula's card sketch, technique and stamping style (contrasting light and dark shades of ink) and I also used a multi step stamp set (Balloon Celebration by Stampin' Up!) .
I used Blushing Bride ink and the new Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the balloons on Whisper White card stock. I stamped over the darkest balloons with Whisper White Craft Ink and for the balloon strings I applied Smoky Slate ink. I also applied clear Wink of Stella to add glitter to the stamped stars in the background. To embellish I used Silver Metallic thread all products from Stampin' Up!
For the card base I used half A4 sheet of Flirty Flamingo card stock and I folded in half.
