Stampin Up Spring / Summer Catalog Farewell 2016 + Bear hugs Quiet Book
May 13, 2016
11 Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators from 6 countries are saying farewell to the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer Catalogue 2016 and amazing products are getting retired. The retiring offers will be available until 31st May or whilst supplies last.
Currently you’re visiting Bibi Cameron in the UK. You can continue hopping by using the list of names at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making...
I made my first "Quirky Quite book" using Stampin' Up! dies from the Occasion Catalog 2016 to cut felt, this make the work much easier than cutting all by hand.
I have recorded a video to show you the whole project and how it works in case you want to have a look CLICK HERE or in the image above.
I decided to jump into this new crafty adventure as my toddler Emma got all excited when she saw a video about this kind of books. And I have to say that there is a pile of work involved ( small details here and there) but the dies make the work much quicker. I made it in 3 days ( about 18 hours) as I only used the sewing machine to attach the binding. Now Emma got her own Quite Book and she is developing motor fine skills while playing and I'm thinking about making a cot mobile for my baby boy with the teddies.
Here you go some pictures of the book cover and the inside.
I really hope you enjoyed my project!
The next stop on the farewell hop is my lovely talented friend Tracy May. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
