FAIRY CELEBRATION BY STAMPIN UP ENCOURAGEMENT CARDS FOR GDP044 - Case the Designer

July 11, 2016

Hola! I made encouragement cards for Global Design Project this week and I have used a new and adorable stamp set called   "Fairy Celebration"  by Stampin' Up! This suit contains 8 individual stamps just perfect to send  best wishes to  that special person.

I  seriously think the word need a bit more of fairy dust nowadays so here you go ...

This week, you and I have  the challenge to CASE one of the beautiful cards made by Steffi Helmschrott‎. Steffi is a dear Stampin' Up! Demonstrator based in Germany and her work  is amazing, outstanding, unique. Despite I  don't understand a word when I visit her blog  I  have so much fun looking at her stunning projects click here to visit Steffi's Blog.

This is Steffi's  card source of inspiration today:

As Steffi  I have used  gold metallic paper, butterflies, splattered background and I CADE her card layout  and colours. I stamped the leaves on Butterfly Basics Stamp Set on one of the cards just like Steffi did to approch even more to her design. Then I added  my quirky banners to both cards.

I love to add dimension to my cards so using the Bitty Butterfly Punch I punch out some butterflies out of  Vellum, Gold Foil Sheets , Silver Glimmer Paper  to create the fairy wings.  I overlay them and paste them using my sewing machine ( smoky slate card) and glue dots ( Crumb Cake card).

I also used the new Copper Stampin' Emboss power by Stampin Up! to stamp the fairy dust in the background.
