Spellbinders 3D Holiday Vignettes | Christmas Shadow Box Cards and Tags
August 22, 2019Hi everyone, I have the honour to be on the Spellbinders blog today featuring some of the gorgeous 3D Holiday Vignettes by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders.
For today I used Grand Snow Globe die set and Santa Claus Layering die set .
These die sets are D I V I N E!!! they take traditional die-cutting to another level.
Watch a 10-min video tutorial to see the products in action + 6 samples !!
- Cut and emboss the paper.
- Combine practical and elegant design with intricate detail
- Easily and effortlessly produce a stunning 3D shadowbox card.
- The card folds flat.
- It fit in a 6x6 inches standard envelope.
- very little adhesive required.
The card assembled measures 4-1/2” x 5 - 1/4 “ inches.
When folded it measures 5-1/4 “ x 6” inches.
It fits on a standard 6"x6" inches envelope.
You can make this card in any colour.
To make it you need 6 panels.
I die cut the panels out of 3 different cardstock colours ( 2 green – 2 white – 2 gold )
GO 2D With 3D Holiday Vignettes by Becca Feeken
Use dies from Grand Snow Globe die set and Santa Claus Layering die set to make simple projects such as cards and tags.
I made a super simple shaker card and also a golden toper that can be used on cards boxes or tags.
Top Tip:
Use decorative dies to embossed die cuts.Once I die cut the paper using Santa Claus Layering die set, I placed the die over the paper again and I run it on the die cutting machine together with an embossing mat to make the embossed image pop.
It is hard to see the embossing in pictures but is gorgeous in flesh.
You can also use the decorative dies as a stencil and apply ink to reveal the embossed Santa!
Add some sparkle and as simple as that you will be able to create beautiful Christmas tags.
That's all for today...
