I adore Polar bears!!! we have a couple in theHighland Wildlife Park here in the north of Scotland, and they just had a baby bear!!! it is the first time a polar bear cub has been born in the UK for 25 years.
When we visited the park last summer I thought they were brothers but hey! love was in the air. Check out a video I shared on my "personal facebook videos" with the couple. They were swimming and they were the inspiration for my card today!
Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a quick post with another card idea using images from More Flakey Friends Stamp Set(deer image, small star, and sentiment on the black banner), Sweet as Honey Stamp Set(leaves and bubbles) Snow Birds(sentiment: you warm my heart).
So I made a very simple Friendship / Christmas Card giving extra use to tiny small stamps...
I added colors with Zigs on Canson watercolor paper but for some reason, the paper was misbehaving or perhaps having my son Harris next to me playing with my craft tools and liking my Distress ink pads didn't help and my deer ended being much darker than I wanted it to be. I would love him to be lighter and have applied more lilac and soft brown colors, this is defo something want to be making next time.

Happy Sunday everyone and it is my Honey Bee Stamps day so I'm sharing a quick post to share another Christmas card made using More Flakey Friends Stamp Set and Honey Bee Hive Stencil that I turned into an igloo... Well, I tried to! I know it is looking like a snow bank or something else buy hey!! It is an igloo!
I'm still experimenting with the stencil so hopefully, I'll come back later with a proper looking Igloo.
I used Zig Clean Colour Real Brush and a water brush to add colors to the images and I applied the same coloring technique than in the video here!
I masked the central area and applied Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress inks and splattered the panel with the ink of a Polka White Marker.
I also used Let it Snow Stamp set and coordinating dies to stamp the sentiment " All I want for Christmas is you"
