Hi everyone, welcome to Simon Says Stamp Cheer and Joy blog hop - Day 2!  We are celebrating a new release filled with beautiful products to enjoy papercraft this Christmas.

To apply colors I used Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens.

These are highly pigmented pens so I dropped a little bit ( a tiny little bit) of the pigment directly from the pen over the image and using a Nuvo water brush I spread the color.

I always apply the pigment first on the area I want to be darker and I blend the color in the opposite direction and while I'm doing this I clean the brush several times so that the pigments get lighter and lighter.

I do not press the water brush barrel and I dry the tip of the brush with a paper towel avoiding at all cost dripping excess of water on the artwork.



The Nuvo Aqua Flow pens offer eye-catching shades of colors and this raccoon was so easy to color. I spent about 40 minutes coloring this piece because I find it relaxing and I do it slowly.

My new favorites Nuvo colors are  Tomato Juice,  Grenadine Red, Azure Blue,  Backed Cherry.

I also love Caramel Pecan that makes a nice skin tone when diluted with water!!

I also used the black Nuvo Aqua Flow pen to splatter the card backgrounds and to add shadows.



This adorable scene was colored using Tomato Juice,  Grenadine Red, Azure Blue,  Backed Cherry, Spiced Ginger,   Caramel Pecan, Yellow Ochre, and Clear Water Nuvo Aqua Flow Colours.

I lightly splatter the panels using yellow, red and brown Aqua flow pens and I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze over the eyes of the raccoon, the bird's peak and the cherries.

To finish I also added a little bit of shimmer pen over the images.
