• All my cards today measures 6" x  4-1/2" inches.
• They were made out of Neenah Solar Crest 80L
• I embellished all  the cards today using Nuvo Gemstones or sequins (listed below)

Distress Ink Background

• For this card, I used Wow Special Bonding Embossing Powder.  Then I melted it with a heat gun and I pressed Gold Gilding Flakes onto it.
• I brushed the excess and heat again to set.
• Note: heat up again and as you go to keep the embossing powder sticky.
• After applying the gilding Flakes,  I used a Nuvo Precision Brushes to apply distress ink at the background.  I used Fired Brick, then I applied Aged Mahogany

• So I first stamped the whole crown using Fired Brick, then I applied Aged Mahogany over the edges of the stamp to create darker edges and then to darken the edges a lot more I used Black Sooth Ink.
• I stamped the banner using Simon Says Stamp Black Ink.

You can see how to make these treat boxes in a very old video here.

These boxes measure 2-1/4" ( width)  x 1- 1/2" (height) and to make them  you will need an Envelope Punch Board and 6x6 inches sheets of paper.

• I  used Catalina Splash (blue) and Cranberry Bliss ( red) inks by FSJ to stamp the labels.
• To cut out the stamped images, I used a circle dies.
• To add an extra decorative element to the box topper, I die cut stars our of gold glitter cardstock using a die from Stacking Stars die set by Honey Bee Stamps
• I keep the box closed with a ribbon band that is held in place by a glue dot.

Last but not least, I want to send my love to every single American. Although it is hard for me to find the right words my heart goes to the community that has been wounded by racism.

I want to send encouragement to the Afro American Community. I feel for you and it saddens my soul to see the injustice and all you have to endure as a community historically.

You are brave. You are strong. You are truly incredible.

• I stamped the image using Versafine Black Onix Ink on 300 grams Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper.
• I then added a couple of quick colour washes over the flowers.
• To make the background, I simply added washes of blue and purple paint around the image (masking fluid wasn't  necessary)
• When the paint was still wet I applied salt ( kitchen salt).
• I allowed the panel to dry with the salt over until the next day and I removed it.
• I finished painting the bottle just by adding a wash of yellow paint over and a shadow for the label.
• Using the stamping platform,  I stamped the small banner on smooth cardstock, I fuzzy cut it and glued over the center of the image.
