Hello everyone, a new exciting product release is available at the Simon Says Stamp! shop here and we are celebrating with a blog hop - giveaway with ideas and inspiration to use the new products.

My projects today features Leafy Frame Stencil and You are my Sunshine Wafer Dies and  I also used Stitching Butterfly dies from the last month release.

I also have a video available on my Youtube Channel so you can see the products in action .. check it out here!

Leafy Frame Stencil will allow you to create a 6"x6" inches background but you can also use part of it to create smaller projects.

I die cut the backgrounds using a Tag Die.  You can use circle dies or any other to use the background in a different way.

The card below was made using the negative - embossed image of the stencil and the tag was made using the positive image.

I also wanted to see how the complete stencilled image looks and I made the cards below.

To make this cards, I placed the stencil on a 6"x6" inches piece of Bristol paper and using a Nuvo soft sponge I applied Distress Oxide Inks and traditional Distress Inks . I mixed them to create darker areas ( see colours in the supply list below).  I  sprayed gold shimmery ink over the panels and also water. I placed the spray bottle far away from the paper trying to get small drops of paint and water but the spray is predictable and I got some very large drops... It is fine tho! I die cut the sentiment  You are my Sunshine out of  Craft Perfect Gold Mirror cardstock and Gold Glitter cardstock. I added the butterflies (Stitching Butterflies) to complete the card. I simply added Distress Ink on the centre of the butterflies with a dauber to add colour.

For the card above  I used Derwent watercolour paper ( ivory). Brusho Brilliant Red and Yellow. I also used  Oh, Hello There die to add the sentiment.

To add a decorative element to this card I  used SSS Tickle Breeze die  and I  die cut the panel sprinkled with the blue Brushocolours.  The sentiment was made using  SSS Thanks Die
