DIY Paper Christmas Wreath | Susan's Garden Die Collection

Isn't it fantastic? This looks like a pile of hard work but it actually took me about 15 minutes to die cut every single piece on this wreath and about 45 minutes put all the elements together and embellish it!
I also spend some time choosing paper colors so you might need one hour ( one hour and a half ) to create this project.
To do this, I used some of the dies from the new Susan's Garden Club die collection by Tonic Studios.
The collection designed by Susan Tierney Cockburn's includes different leaves designs in the perfect size and eight different florals so you can create different wreath designs as well.
Of course, the dies can be used to complete any papercraft project!
I'm in Christmas mode so I made a large Paper Christmas Wreath. It measures 40 cm - 15-1/2 inches.

Die Cut Coordination
I have seen endless inspiration using Susa'n Garden dies on her Facebook Group here!!! and I wanted to add to the inspiration something different.
I wanted to show you how well this dies, created in collaboration with Tonic Studios, coordinate together!
Regardless of the die sets you get from this collection you will be able to mix them all and the sizing is perfect! So that you can stretch the use of these supplies.
Although these dies will create with a minimum effort the most realistic flowers and leaves you can also use them to make endless compositions that do not involve realism and they will still be beautiful.
I initially thought of making a green wreath only but I ended up adding red flowers and gold accents.
Materials Used
- White Washed Willow Wreath 40cm
- 10 A4 sheets of green cardstock ( You get 10 - 12 die cuts per sheet)
- 1 A4 sheet of red cardstock ( for the berries)
- 1 sheet of Gold Mirror cardstock ( to add sparkle)
- Red Autumn Nuvo Drops (To add texture and Interest)
- Twine
- Hot Glue ( I used 3 bars)
- Die Cutting Machine
- Leaves and Floral Dies

So these dies are ideal for cards, tags, boxes, home decor projects, candles or any other craft that requires flower making.
The dies will cut a variety of materials such as paper, felt, thin chipboard, leather, fabric, vellum, acetate and they are compatible with any die-cutting machine ( to die cut thick materials you might need a metal shim).

The secret to a happy experience using Nuvo Drops is to keep them warm! The Nuvo Drops don't like cold. The product will be hard to handle if it has been stored in cold places.
- Warm-up your bottles by putting them on a container filled with hot water and leave them there until the water gets cold.
- Squeez your bottle until any air inside the bottle is out and keep squeezing as you work
These simple tips will allow you to create the most perfect round accents for your projects.
You can cove the wreath with a lot more die cuts and you can also make the wreath in any color!
Last but not least I have to say that I love Susan Tierney Cockburn's passion and love to capture the beauty of nature in papercraft creations. Love that!
