My toddler Emma and I are in love with the unicorn stamp in Magical Birthday Stamp Ser by Simon Says Stamp It offers beautiful images to enjoy colouring and adorable Birthday sentiments.
I used Nuvo Brush Scrip Pens by Tonic Studios to apply a very simple watercolour technique on Bristol Paper and on coloured cardstock by Simon Says Stamp . I love the quick and easy results and this is another video that will be available shortly on my Youtube Channel.

Using Tiny Space Heart Stencil by Simon Says Stamps I applied Sapphire Blue Nuvo Glimmer Paste on the card base and I allowed to dry for over 1 hour.

I used Wavy Scallop Sticthes Wafer dies to add a decorative edge to the front panel and using the Tim Holtz Stamping Platform I multi stamped the background with the rainbow stamp in the set and the sentiments.
I feel I have to apologise because I haven't been able to upload videos so often on my YouTube Channel as well as not being able to blog as much as I would like.
The delay in my crafty activities is due to moving home and our new house is very small so there is not space for a craft room. I have been crafting on my dining table with all my supplies piled up in boxes and this is not productive at all as I struggle to find things quickly :(
So after changing our mind several times and budgeting everything we decided to get a log cabin and installed it at the bottom of our garden.
Here is a pic of the bare building .. it has been fully painted and decorating by my own 2 hands during the last 7 days so it no longer looks like it does in the picture anymore.
That's all! I hope you enjoy the project today

I was lucky to get happy mail with beautiful Simon Says Stamp products just on time to make my daughter's 4th Birthday card. Emma's birthday is this Sunday and she loves unicorns and ponies so Magical Birthday Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp was just perfect and it is stinkin cute to make girly cards. I love it!
I stamped the sentiment with black Simon Says Stamps ink using my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform.
This is the first time I tried Simon Says Stamp inks and you can see how crisp the little fonts and the starts looks like. Awesome!

I added accents and interest by applying Nuvo Drops and a Nuvo Gold Glitter Marker. I also used a White Uni- Ball pen to add dots on the Unicorn body and I applied Nuvo Aqua Glimmer Pen all over the image ( being very careful as the inks can bleed).
At very last minute I decided to die cut a number 4 and added somehow to the card. I used Large Numbers Dies from Stampin' Up! and Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I sponged the number with Duckling Ink by Simon Say Stamps and using Sunshine Ink by Simon Says Stamps I stamped the small stamps in the set all over the die cut.

I sponged the number with Duckling Ink by Simon Say Stamps and using Sunshine Ink by Simon Says Stamps I stamped the small stamps in the set all over the die cut.
When I placed the number on the front panel it really didn't work so I tried something else: I placed a piece of craft foam behind the watercolour panel and I run these 2 pieces through the Big Shot to make a window for a shaker and by doing this I got the window perfectly aligned in those pieces.
I sandwiched a piece of acetate between the craft foam and the back of the front watercolor panel and I glued it down with Tombow glue.
I paste the stamped number on a piece of thin cardstock and I placed at the bottom of the shaker window. I added just a few sequins.
If you look at the number with attention you will see how cool Simon Says Stamps inks look like. It it hard to say that is a stamped piece of cardstock ...it actually looks like scrapbook paper.
I also used Scallop Stitches Wafer Dies by Simon Says Stamp to die cut a Pinky background.

SSS More Spring Flowers Stamp Set and Nuvo Script Pens

I can't believe how beautiful and vibrant the ink of the Nuvo Brish Scrip Pens looks on coloured cardstock. The pens were amazing to colour the images of More Spring Flowers Stamp Set by Simon Says... a very easy, quick and pleasant watercolor experience.
I didn't even apply the pen's ink evenly as I was rushing out and experimenting . The true about this card is that I wanted to see how the floral images of the stamp set will show up on light coloured cardstock . I liked the results so that I decided to go ahead and finished the card to share it with you.

This is a C6 ( A6) card . I started by applying a embossing resist technique: stamping the images with Clear Versamark ink, and then applying a fine white embossing powder. I heated emboss with a heat gun and I applied colours.
Shhh don't tell anybody !! but it took less than 2 minutes to colour the images... I only applied a layer of colour in circular motions over the whole image while the embossing powder was resisted the inks. you can go over the images as many times as you want to add shadows and more dept.
I also grabbed my sewing machine to add some stitches at one side of the front panel and I glued some sequins by Lucy's Little Things.
- This pens offer great blendability options. You will find pens with light and a darker shade of the same ink tone in the collection: e.g. a lilac and a dark purple so that you can easily add contrast and shadows using same ink colours.
- You can always blend the inks of different pens to get new colours e.g: blue +yellow to get green. etc.
- You can always play and overlay colours (not need to blend them completely) just allow the ink to dry and then apply contrasting colour on top.
- The pen tip absolutely fantastic to apply colour to very small images and easy to blend on larger image so you won't see the seams or marks where you have applied the pens.
- The pen's ink didn't bleed to unwanted areas during application.
- This is a water based product so you can mix it with water to apply different techniques, the inks blend nicely and dry fast.
- You can apply the pen inks directly on stamps and stamp with them or apply it on a clear block to splatter a background with a water brush.
- Nice pens for hand lettering and general drawing .
