Hello everyone,  last week I shared a card here with an image reflected on the water and some people asked me how I had created that reflection so  I decided to make a video to share easy tips to do this.

Today, I'm using sweet images from Later Alligator Stamp set and I also used Snake Scales Stencil from the July release by Neat and Tangled.

Hello everyone! it's me again and this time I'm sharing  another card using Summer Flowers Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp 

I recently uploaded to my Youtube Channel here! a video to share a super cool technique to apply colored pencils on black cardstock . In the video I  also  showed in 2 minutes  how  I applied colours to the flowers in the card in the pictures today. 

The coloring technique I used  is quite addictive and I promise it is super easy.

I stamped the flowers with Clear Versamark ink, added a layer of soft pastels and then I applied colored pencils. It is amazing how the  Clear Versamark ink resist all those layers of colours! Love it!

I  also mentioned in the video that I'll share the finished card  and also a close up of the images... so here I go!

Hello everyone,  I'm in love with the stunning Sun Flowers from Summer Flowers  Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamps!  it has the perfect images to share with you an old coloring technique using   Coloring Pencils and Artist Soft Pastels on black/ dark cardstock.

I was crazy to give it a try and apply it into cardmaking and stamping and I'm loving the results.

I have used Chameleon SET OF 25 Color Tones Double-Ended Colored Pencils, these pencils are WOW!  My mum used Premium Prismacolour Colored Pencils very similar than Faber Castell Polycromos.

Oh! Any black or dark paper will be ok just remember that the paper's quality affects a bit the results so try to get good cardstock. Any artist soft pastels ( chalks) or  Pastel Pencils will do the job.  I used inexpensive Darwent Soft Pastels. You can also try this technique with any colour pencils but if you are tempted to get the Chameleon just do it!! You won't regret it, they are lovely.
