Christmas Scene with More Flakey Friends by Honey Bee Stamps
October 09, 2017
Happy Sunday everyone and it is my Honey Bee Stamps day so I'm sharing a quick post to share another Christmas card made using More Flakey Friends Stamp Set and Honey Bee Hive Stencil that I turned into an igloo... Well, I tried to! I know it is looking like a snow bank or something else buy hey!! It is an igloo!
I'm still experimenting with the stencil so hopefully, I'll come back later with a proper looking Igloo.
I used Zig Clean Colour Real Brush and a water brush to add colors to the images and I applied the same coloring technique than in the video here!
I masked the central area and applied Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress inks and splattered the panel with the ink of a Polka White Marker.

I also used Let it Snow Stamp set and coordinating dies to stamp the sentiment " All I want for Christmas is you"

Hello everyone, it seems forever since my last post... and I would like to apologies for my absence but we recently moved home and it has been an epic time for me and my family. However, today I had to brake the silence and stretch the day to share some pictures of just one of the samples I made for the new Dimensions - Cupcake & Treat Box Die Set released today.
In the post today I'm using Cupcake & Treat Box dies and I have the pleasure to play with other 2 new, spectacular and versatile dies : a cake slice, a triangle aspect box. I'm loving them.
Click here to see video demonstrations, ideas and inspiration.
The Cupcake & Treat Box includes 16 dies, easy to use . I made a bunch of boxes in minutes using a Stampin' Up! Big Shot, a Cuttlebug and a Big Shot Plus and the dies worked fine.
When using these embossing machines I had to add a layer of cardstock to add pressure to the sandwich to get a clean cut when using the detailed dies in the pack, there is not need to do this when using any other die in the pack, the other dies will cut 2 layers of cardstock with no problem and I would rather prefer to use the Cuttlebug or the Stampin' Up! Big Shot to cut paper in general as they do not leave undesirable embossing marks even when the embossing plates are worn. The Big Shot Plus sadly mark the paper and I really do't like the results.
These dies cut and emboss creating beautiful details on the cardstcok ... Simple beautiful
There is a die in the set to create a perfect insert to place a standard cupcake inside the box.
To make the insert you need a 12x12cm piece of cardstock, then score 2.5cm all around and cut the centre of the box with the die. To finish, cut the corners of the piece in diagonal and paste them in place.
I also made a mini card + envelope with the dies and a bit of stamping ...
An below another mini envelope idea. You can also use the panel of the box to create a tag.
And below a screen shot of a video I 'm editing to show you how to work with the dies. Did you see that cupcake die? the tags?
That's all! I hope you enjoy the projects today.
Happy Crafting

Happy Valentine's Day !!
February 14, 2017
Hello everyone, this is a very quick post to wish you a Happy San Valentine's day! and to share a very easy and simple card idea.
This is a last minute card I made for my husband today. I have to wait for him to arrive from work, then dinner, then children's bath, now I can publish my post :)
I guess we all need love cards everyday.... as "love" is something that we should share daily!
To make this card I used 2 dies from Mandala Moments Dies collection from Tonic Studios they cut 2 layers of thick paper like butter. I used my Stampin' Up! Big Shot to cut with these dies and I just passed the dies once through the machine to get a perfect cut.
Something I have to say is that this card was a bit difficult to photograph as the gold cardstock I used for the sentiment is literary like a mirror so I have to find a right angle to try and get the right colour in the pictures and not get my reflection on the sentiment!
The gold sentiment was die cut out of Craft Perfect Mirror Card by Tonic Studios. The colour is Harvest Gold.
Since Tonic sent me samples of this card in different striking colours I can't stop die cutting words out of this high gloss cardstock! I love it.. it is something so very new to me.
I also visited Hobbycraft yesterday and I noticed that Daler Rowney sell a smooth card that comes in a stack of 20 sheets . It was next to the watercolour paper so I couldn't resist and I bought a stack to give it a try.
It is ultra smooth and is 100% white (not ivory). The name of this cardstock is Bristol Board - Airbrush 250g and I used for the front panel. I'll be stamping on it later to see what its performance.
The card base was made using thick Whisper White cardstock by Stampin' Up!
That's all! I hope you enjoy this project and do not hesitate to ask any question or leave a comment. I would love to heard from you.
Happy Crafting.

Bloomin' Love Stamp Set by Stampin Up| #tgifc91- Inspiration
January 20, 2017
Hello everyone, this week on TGIF challenges we are making love themed projects and I used Bloomin' Love Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! for my entry.
I know we have so many new love themed stamps but I decided to used one from the catalog 2016, still current and lovely.
Click here to join the challenge this week or to see what everybody is making
I stamped the images with "Old Linen Distress ink" on watercolor paper and I applied watercolours paint on top with a watercolor round brush #4. I used Kuretake Zig Gansai Tambi Watercolour Paint.
I paste the square frame first using Foam Adhesives Stripes and the I glued down the central stamped piece.
I embellished with gold matt sequins from Lucy's cards.
Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope you like the card and my beautiful daughter Paula too!
Do not hesitate to ask any question or leave a comment. I would love to heard from you.
All supplies listed at the bottom of the post.
Happy Crafting.

A NICE CUPPA STAMPIN UP LOVE CARD #GDP019 - Theme Challenge
January 18, 2016
Hello everyone, I was determined to use Nice Cuppa stamp set and coordinating dies from Stampin' Up! for this week challenge: challenge #19 of Global Design Project / Theme: Love and then I got the idea of making something slightly different.
I have to admit that I struggled to accomplish my own objectives with this card and I'm not sure if I did because A Nice Cuppa is in my opinion a very feminine stamp set, or because my english is not good enough to play with words, or because I'm lack of sleep at 3 weeks from the due date of my 3rd baby and my brain is not working as it should...
So here is my love card for today's challenge. I hope you like it and make you giggle!
Please check out other projects I made with this tools
Below a picture of the gorgeous "A nice cuppa" stamp set and the dies. Ideal to make Mother's day or feminine friendship cards and invitations. The dies includes a cup of coffee which would be fantastic as well to make love cards or get well cards.
I tried to give a different sense to this card using the dies and only 1 of the stamps in the set. To complete the message I used Alphabet Rotary stamp. So many ideas came to my mind then as with the Alphabet Rotary stamp I could built any message but this one was the easier, short to execute and perhaps a bit different from the projects I have seen before using this combo.
Once the design was clear in my mind this was a very easy and quick project. I also have use a sheet of Have a Cuppa designer series paper stack (DSP)for the background, black, cherry cobbler, and kraft card stock, circle punch and dies to make the plate, white emboss powder, silver metallic thread and the heart is from Bear hugs Framelits Dies all products from Stampin' Up! you can purchase any of this items by clicking on the pictures at the bottom of this post or here!
