Colouring 

I applied colours to each piece using FSJ watercolour pencils + Zigs watercolour markers.
I applied a fair amount of the pencils and marker pigments on the watercolour paper and I blended it using a water brush.

I then glue the pieces together and applied extra colour just to add darker areas,  shadows and accents.

Hello everyone, when my 5 years old daughter Emma and I were unboxing the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month (April 2019)  we couldn't think about anything else but ballerina dresses. We loved the die set included in the kit.

We also received the Large Die of the Month designed to make a gift card holder with handles, a little tag and a tassel and we also used it to share extra ideas with you today.



We made little ballerina dresses.  We baked and decorate our own cupcakes just to show you how easy could be to use the dies in the kit to make party decorations.

So here is a  9-minutes video to show you how we did it

To make the dress we used foiled paper and metallic silver paper included in the Spellbinders kit of the month.

For the dress skirt, we used tissue paper. You can die cut several layers of this paper in one go then fold and glue the paper as I show in the video.


Emma got an eye for detail that is incredibly good for her age shew chose Nuvo Snow Storm Flakes to embellish it and also Nuvo Gemstones.

We know the kit is very versatile as it is filled with so many beautiful products but this time I also wanted to do something completely different at what I have done before using the kit so there you got an alternative idea. I hope you like it!



We also tried the Spellbinders Large Die of the month - April 2019  together with our die cut dress and paper included in the kit of the month.

It is very easy to assemble this gift card holder.  Although you defo might need instructions to put some of the small parts together especially the tassel and the tissue paper that embellish the gift card holder. I hope my video can help.



I  love this gift card holder and the die set is very comprehensive as it will allow you to create those cute bag handles and it also includes a little tag and a die to cut slits to insert the gift card inside.

We also tried to make some projects in other colours to share more ideas with you.

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing Video - Post with easy and quick ideas using Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month: Relax and Enjoy.  I  Love it!!

In my opinion, this kit is amazing value for money. For only £26.50 you all the products I'm showing in the video.

I made nine quick and easy cards and two boxes with mini tags and I also use the paper in the kit to make envelopes.

I  really like the 6x6" paper pad in the kit.  Some of the sheets have foil accents and I couldn't resist making a couple of boxes to show you the beauty of the paper. I used the envelope punch board to easily score and shape the mini boxes.

The Butterfly vellum embellishments really caught my eye... aren't they beautiful? they were so easy to use as well.


These are 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches mini cards and the envelopes were made using the paper in the 6"x6" inches paper included in the kit.





I cut the card bases included in the kit to make the mini cards above.

For the cards below I used the C6 card base complete together with a floral sheet of paper from the paper pad in the kit and a die cut shape.



In the video, I also show the 21 pieces die set included in the kit and how easy is to use it. the card below is a sample and as always the sky's the limit!

Ok so as I mentioned in the video my very first thought when I saw the Amazing Paper Grace die set of this month was that it was designed to create a handbag - paper tote purse - gift box - goodie bag.

However, when I sat to craft I found it is not and a few days ago when the die set was released,  I fond that its name is Enchantment Tall Flip and Gatefold Card Die Set . All makes sense then.  I received die samples from the factory with no instructions so, in theory, I have some freedom to use the dies in a way that feel comfortable to me.

So I instinctively used the die set to make the first sample, using the dies in the way they mean to work together.   I was warming up and just tasting the waters and Im also sharing how to make this sample in the video. Remember you can use any paper colour. This is only a sample but the sky is the limit!

I think these dies will make a stunning wedding invitation and you can keep the design very simple as the dies are very VERY intricate.


I kept thinking about the  "box/bag handles" idea and I had to put it in practice. Voila! it worked like a charm and I actually like the super easy way you can put together these kinds of boxes.

They will be the perfect packaging solution for a wide variety of products and gifts ...

Purse Handles idea

So you can make handles for any kind of paper bag design you have in mind and then glue them to your projects.

The Amazing Paper Grace Die of this month also includes a small die to make flowers... I totally love those! they will create absolutely beautiful little flowers.
