It's Monday and on Global Design Project  we got a new weekly Challenge for you. We had the mission to create something using Real Red, Old Olive and Crumb Cake  colours from Stampin' Up! and I made pillow boxes and goodie bags. 

  

My daughter Paula is traveling tomorrow to Colombia - South America to spend Xmas and  New Year Eve with my family there, and this bags were just perfect to package some of the smallest and lightweight  items  I'm sending away.  I have a "HUGE" family so I also send a bunch of  Xmas cards, handmade presents and money envelopes ...  Phew!  It was a pile of work but worthy. Click here to see the handmade cushion covers I made as Xmas present for one of my cousins using the Swallowtail stamp (Stampin on Fabric).

I have used  the Gift Bag Punch Board to make the goodie bags, Reason for the Season and Lovely as a Tree stamp sets to stamp the paper to make the boxes and bags and Talk Tag Stamp set to create the tags.  To stamp the names in the tags I used Alphabet Rotary Stamp,  to cut the leaves on the pillow boxes I used  the Bouquet L Bigz die  and  to make the pillow boxes I used an old die I have but you can get a very similar Square pillow box die  from Stampin' Up!  Please find complete supply list at the bottom of this post.

It's Monday of Global Design Project  and  today I have been inspired by Brian King a talented American Stampin' Up! Demonstrator with a unique masculine style, a lot of involvement of DSP in his projects and creator of great sketches. Brian was the first male to earn Rising Star- Stampin' Up! in 2013, he has a promissory sales trajectory and he is also member of our GDP team.

 I CASE his selected colour combo in the card below to create "Circular Christmas Crackers" and I used the Stampin' Trimmer and the Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin Up to finish this project.

I was looking forward to make a more traditional tubular Christmas Cracker  and I had in my head that I could make it using my Gift  Bag Punch Board. It took me a while to figure out how to make the cuts but I did it!! I really hope nobody did this before. I did search online and I couldn't find a tutorial for doing these crackers as I do  so that  I decided to go for it and perhaps I'm bringing a new way to do what we know how to do years ago... something new to try on your craft table.

Making gift bags is very easy with the new Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin' Up!  I love it! After trying it once or twice it takes 1 minute or less to punch out a  bag and  the assembly is done in a flash . I used strong double sided tape and  glue to paste it together.

With the Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin' Up!  it is possible to  make bags in 3 sizes : S, M, L but I manage to make an XS  bag or small treats packaging. I also made a tote bag - treat holder  using this board and I 'm pretty sure that making and XL size can be possible too. Find  more about this tool  in my video tutorial :)
