Hello everyone,  today I'm sharing two super duper easy card ideas using gorgeous  supplies by Papertrey Ink - Ink to Paper:

•  Bouquet Backdrop.
•  Border Bling Chain.

CARDMAKING PROCESS |

• I  first die cut three beautiful bouquet backdrops.
• Then, I applied Evergreen Bough and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks over the die cuts using a mini blending tool.
• Evergreen bough on the center of the die cuts and Squeeze Lemonade at the edges.
• I used one of the die cuts for the card below and the other two for the other card in this post.

Use a  Distressed die-cut as an accent or the focus of your card

Although I used parts of this die-cut to complete the other card in this post, you will never notice.

 For this card, I also used Border Bling Chain Die. 

This is an absolutely stunning border die .. so original!


OVERLAPPED STAMPED SENTIMENT |

This is a very cool effect to apply on cards as well.

• With the help pf the stamping platform, I stamped the sentiment on the background panel.
• I leave the panel on the platform and them I placed the Bouquet Backdrop die-cut over it and I stamped over the die-cut to get the sentiment aligned.
• Next, I glued the Buquet Backdrop die-cut in place.
• I embellished with sequins.

Use Distressed die-cut  to cover the whole background

• For this card, I simply adhere two bouquet backdrops on a C6 ( American standard card base) 
•  I  also used some parts of the die-cut used in the card above to fill in the edges.
•  I use "To Die For Sentiments Birthday die set"  to cut the sentiment out of gold mirror cardstock.
• To finish I added fashion gold embellishments.

The envelope is  Torquise Sea Gina K designs envelopes. Sadly I couldn't find the envelopes available to add them to the supplies list.

I added envelopes in similar colors.

Totally loving this die set!!! isn't it cute?

Each die-cut and emboss the paper so you also get a pretty texture on each individual die-cut.

I  die cut all the pieces out of watercolour paper and I  keep the die set all together as it comes in the packaging so that I won't lose any of the tiny dies.



INKING|

Once I got the watercolour die cuts, I simply added colours using a mini dauber and Distress inks.

I used a combination of Oxide and Classic Distress Inks.

Loving Evergreen Bough + Squeeze Lemonade combo...  This inks together make a pretty mint colour that coordinates perfectly with the envelope.

DIE CUTTING |

I used the Tangerine die cutting machine by Tonic Studios to cut all the die cuts in one go.


INKS |

Cup Cake:  Picked Raspberry Classic Distress Ink +  Dusty Concord Classic Distress Ink
Flowers: Evergreen Bought  Classic Distress Ink + Squeeze Lemonade Classic Distress Ink + Mustard Seed Classic Distress Ink, Candied Apple Oxide, Worn Lipstick (Oxide).
Background: Evergreen Bough+ Broken China


PAPER|

I used Canson watercolour paper

The envelopes are Turquoise Sea by Gina K Designs. I added envelopes in similar colours available in C6 size.

STAMPING|

DIE CUTTING |

To die-cut the florals I used the  Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

This machine makes a lot easier the work of die-cutting around the edge of any image because of its clear pads.   You might no require to use washi tape to keep the dies in place and you can see exactly what you are doing.

For the Sunburst background, I defo needed extra die-cutting power and for that nothing better than the Tangerine Die-cutting machine by Tonic Studios.

In my opinion, "the Tangerine" is simply the best you can get to do intricate die-cutting.

I found my self using the Tangerine very often to cut paper using Papertrey Ink delicate and intricate backgrounds and word dies as I can't achieve the same results with my other die-cutting machines even when I pass the dies up to 6 times on the machines.

So I thought it is important to let you know this.

I have different die-cutting machines. Each has strong and week points,  each one does a different kind of work for me and I love each of them  ( Big shot Plus, Platinum and Tangerine.. I used to have the Cuttlebug loved it too) !!


INKS |

Flowers: Fozilised Amber Distress Oxide Ink + Wild Honey and Vintage photo classic distress inks.
Brach: Evergreen Bought Classic Distress Ink + Squeeze Lemonade Classic Distress Ink


PAPER|

I used Spellbinders Pool Cardstock, one of my fav colours for this summer and it coordinates with Torquise Sea Gina K designs envelopes.

Sadly I couldn't find the envelopes anywhere to add them to the supplies list.

I added envelopes in similar colours.

Supplies

These multilayered die-cut cakes  are yummy.  They are just perfect to make easy and quick birthday, anniversary or wedding cards.

You can create a one, two or a three-layer die-cut cake using  Cake Creations Stamp  (48 pieces stamp set) and 29 pieces coordinating die set.

The stamp set includes tiny flowers, sentiments, numbers, and textures to stamp the different cake layers.


To stamp this card I used dye inks by Simon Says Stamp in the following colors:

• Sentiments and numbers | Black
• Cake and the flowers|   Cotton Candy, Apricot.
• Flowers Centres |  Sunshine
• Leaves| Green Apple, Leaf Green
• Cake Stand  | Green Leaf

Paper Used | Hero Arts Dove for stamping and 300 grams watercolor paper for the card base.
Embellishments | Fashion Gold by Spellbinders and Linen Thread.

I also used Border Bling: Tin Stitch Die to add a pattern to the card base.



For this card, I used the same supplies as for the card above but this time I added a hint of Red Apple dye ink to the flowers.

I  added gold glitter cardstock to add some sparkle to the cake candles and the banner.

I also use the help of a stamping platform to stamp all the cards in this post.
